Silverlake is getting 5 new contemporary “smart” homes. GIBBS Architects has designed these new “Small Lot Ordinance” residences to be a small but key part of the solution to Los Angeles’ 20 year housing inventory shortfall. GIBBS Architects’ sister development company AAREI is entitling the project. Ocean Construction is the expert builder that will soon execute the buildings. Where there was once one incredibly mediocre tract type home from the 50’s, there soon will be new 3 story contemporary buildings designed to be filled with light and air and housing 5 new Silverlake families.
